Refund Policy for Custom-Made Items

  • General Policy: We strive to ensure complete customer satisfaction with our custom-made products. However, due to the nature of these items, which are made to your specific requirements, our standard 14-day cooling-off period for general purchases does not apply. 
  • Faulty or Damaged Goods: If your custom-made item arrives damaged or is faulty, please contact us within [Number] days of receipt, and we will arrange for a refund, replacement, or repair, at our discretion. 
  • Non-Faulty Returns: We do not accept returns for custom-made items that are not faulty or damaged, unless otherwise agreed upon. 
  • Exceptions:
    • Personalized Items: Custom-made items with personalization (e.g., names, initials, or specific designs) are generally non-refundable unless faulty or damaged. 
    • Made-to-Measure Items: Items made to specific measurements are generally non-refundable unless faulty or damaged. 
    • Sale Items: Any custom-made items purchased during a sale period are final sale and non-refundable. 
    • Gift Cards: Gift cards are non-refundable and cannot be exchanged for cash, except as required by law. 
  • Refund Process:
    • If a refund is approved, it will be issued to the original payment method within 10 business days. 
    • Please note that shipping costs for returns are the responsibility of the customer, unless the return is due to a fault or damage on our part.

Refunds

Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.

If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within a certain amount of days.

If an item purchased with a gift card is returned, the refund will be issued in the form of a new gift card, up to the original value of the returned item. 

Late or missing refunds

If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again.

Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted.

Sale items

Only regular priced items may be refunded. Sale items cannot be refunded.

Exchanges

We only replace items if they are defective or damaged. If you need to exchange it for the same item, send us an email at lilboo@boocreations.co.uk.

Gifts

If the item was marked as a gift when purchased and shipped directly to you, you’ll receive a gift credit for the value of your return. Once the returned item is received, a gift certificate will be mailed to you.

If the item wasn’t marked as a gift when purchased, or the gift giver had the order shipped to themselves to give to you later, we will send a refund to the gift giver and they will find out about your return.

Shipping returns

To return your product, once accepted our return address will be sent to you.

You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.

Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you may vary.

If you are returning more expensive items, you may consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.
